Born in Canterbury Kent, England 1979. I went on to graduate in Fine Art from the Kent Institute of Art and Design and later studied photography at Nottingham University, England.
From my early childhood I have always been interested in painting and photography and now work as a full time Artist and Photographer based in Kent. Although studying at Art College I am fundamentally a self-taught artist. My use of colour, mark making, textures and dynamic composition create my personal signature. I am very passionate about mixing media and experimenting with various materials such as handmade paper, photographs, material and paint to create heavily textured paintings. They vary in size including very large pieces.
Photography was my initial passion when I was handed my first camera at the age of five. Since then I now specialise in travel and documentary photography and have had my images published in various magazines, websites, books as well as commissions. I have travelled extensively all over the world which has been the inspiration for all my work. I have recently returned from two months travelling around Morocco. It is one of the most beautiful, interesting and diverse countries I have been to from the dramatic blue town of Chefchaouen to the ever changing oranges of the desert. It has become a country I am hugely passionate about and is the subject of my latest work.
I have been very successful in selling my work in many galleries in the UK and Europe. I have had commissions from Private Hospitals, hotels, architects and Fashion companies. I have also worked as a photographer for charity organisations.
